Almost 10 years after the M9 earthquake and devastating tsunami, Tohoku (North East Japan) is protected by a massive sea wall. From Fukushima prefecture to Iwate prefecture, more than 300 km of wave barrier are already finished. The wall high is from 3 meters to 15 meters.
